Ingredients:
- 3 1/4 cups 390g all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 1/4 cups 296ml lukewarm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions:
Warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast should all be mixed together in a bowl
Allow it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it foams up
Mix the flour and kosher salt into the yeast
Mix until you get a dough
For about 5 minutes, knead the dough on a floured surface until it's smooth and springy
Put the dough in a bowl and coat it with olive oil
It should double in size after one to two hours
Cover it with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise
Warm up your oven to 475F 245C and put a pizza stone or an upside-down baking sheet inside
Split the dough in half, making two equal parts
You can roll each piece into a circle or a rectangle, whichever you like better
Place the dough that has been rolled out on a sheet of parchment paper
Place your favorite pizza toppings on top of the dough
Put the pizza on the parchment paper and then slide the pizza stone or baking sheet into the oven that has already been heated
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are done the way you like them
Take it out of the oven, let it cool down a bit, and then cut your homemade pizza into perfect slices
